Congleton Golf Club is a 9 hole undulating parkland course with 12 greens and is probably the most picturesque course in the North West with
stunning views up towards the Cloud and the Peak National
Park. The course is 5,119 yards long
with S.S.S. of 65.
The ‘signature’ hole is the 8th which is a left hand dogleg and from the tee you drive ‘through the
eye of a needle’ with a second shot over a pond on to a plateau green, well protected at the front
by a large tree. A card wrecker, as stroke index 1 indicates.
