Originally, from Cheshire, he began his career working as an assistant at Astbury and Malkins Bank golf clubs respectively. From 1991, he spent 8 years working for the highly respected Tommy Horton MBE at the Royal Jersey Golf Club where he learnt a great deal from the former Ryder Cup player and leading Senior Tour money winner, passing that knowledge to his many pupils and clients.

Martin’s newly built Proshop offers a purposely-built swing room fitted with dual camera video digital analysis and a Vector Pro Launch monitor to enable the very latest in hi-tech club fitting.

Out on the range Martin and his team use many coaching aids to allow his pupils achieve their best results, this includes the Explanar www.explanar.com, described by Butch Harman as the best coaching aid he has seen in 40 years

As you would expect with an establishment of the quality of Delamere Forest golf club, the Pro Shop offers an extensive range of golf equipment, clothing and accessories that will leave the discerning golfer wanting for nothing. Most equipment in the shop is available for trial, allowing the customer to make sure they get the right specifications that suit their swing.

Coaching is available to members and non-members alike.
